Legal framework: what we do and do not do
This page states our limits plainly, because information obtained unlawfully can turn against you rather than help you.
Why is unlawful evidence risky?
Evidence obtained unlawfully may be disregarded by the court (for example under HMK art. 189). Moreover, listening to and recording another person's conversations, violating the privacy of private life or communications, or unlawfully obtaining personal data are criminal offences under the Turkish Penal Code (for example TCK arts. 132-136).
The shortcuts taken to win a case therefore often lose it.
Which methods are safe?
Observation in public places, open-source research, verification with consent, records requested through official channels (lawyer, court, institution) and technical sweeps (TSCM) are lawful methods. Which method is used in each case is stated in the written scope.
Personal data
Personal data processed during a case is handled under Law No. 6698 (KVKK), only as far as necessary and only for the stated purpose. See the KVKK privacy notice for details.
Violence, threats and child safety
We do not accept requests to locate someone fleeing violence or to take a child by force. In immediate danger use 112 or 155; victims of violence can use ALO 183 and the KADES app.
What we do
- We observe and record photos and video in public places.
- We research from open sources and public records.
- We perform technical bug detection (TSCM): we find devices, we never install them.
- We report every finding with timestamps and a chain of custody.
- We work with your lawyer and can support testimony where needed.
- We start with a written scope and a confidentiality agreement.
What we never do
- We do not wiretap or record calls or messages.
- We do not access anyone's email, social media or cloud accounts.
- We do not install spyware or tracking apps on anyone's device.
- We do not place GPS trackers without permission.
- We do not access bank, call-record, civil registry or land registry data covertly. Such records are requested through the court and your lawyer.
- We do not place hidden cameras or microphones inside homes.
- We do not search for people fleeing violence and we never take a child by force.
- We do not threaten, blackmail, harass or confront.
