Corporate investigations
Corporate investigations
A company's loss often comes from inside rather than from outside the door. We run a lawful inquiry that turns suspicion into evidence and evidence into a decision.
What does corporate investigation do?
Companies need an impartial inquiry on staff integrity, loss of goods or money, information leaking to a competitor, false sick notes, unfair competition and the reliability of commercial partners. The investigator combines documents, open sources, observation and permitted technical data to turn the event into a fact-based report.
Our approach
We first define the hypothesis and the legal frame. We then start with the least intrusive method and move on only if needed. Findings are logged with date and source, and interpretation is kept apart from fact. The report is structured so your lawyer can use it for a disciplinary process, compensation or a criminal complaint.
Principle of impartiality
We look for the truth, not the expected result. An inquiry is for understanding the event, not for declaring someone guilty; the result may also clear a person.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Is it legal to monitor my employee?
There are legal limits. Using cameras and recordings for workplace security requires notice and proportionality, and private life cannot be intruded on. We settle the scope with your legal counsel in each case.
Can the report be used in court?
Findings gathered by lawful methods can be submitted for evidential assessment, but admission and weight are for the court. No result is guaranteed.
Will employees know?
That depends on the type of inquiry. We work under a confidentiality agreement and only with authorised people.
