Access and order

  • Is it recorded who enters the room?
  • Are cleaning and maintenance staff supervised?
  • Are flipcharts and notes destroyed after meetings?
  • Are newly added objects (gifts, decor) checked?

Device policy

In very sensitive meetings phones should not be brought into the room or should be left in a safe place, the configuration of the conference system and IP phone should be known and unnecessary microphones and cameras switched off.

Sound leakage

A room's permeability to sound through walls, doors and ventilation creates an eavesdropping risk even without a device. An acoustic security test measures these weak points.

Sweeps

Plan a quick check before a critical meeting and periodic TSCM for risky rooms. For office sweeps see the office and meeting room page.
