Myth 1: A click on the phone

On old analogue lines this sound was said to relate to tapping, but on today's networks clicks or echoes are mostly caused by signal and infrastructure. On its own it is not evidence of bugging.

Myth 2: The battery drains fast

Battery life depends on apps, updates, screen brightness and battery age. Fast drain, heating and data rise can be consistent with spyware but are mostly caused by ordinary reasons.

More meaningful signs

  • The other side knowing information you told no one
  • Your movements being predicted
  • An unfamiliar device found in a vehicle
  • Items moved after repairs or a visit
  • An unexplained new app or profile on devices

What should you do?

Rather than counting signs and drawing a conclusion, have measurement done. You can use the quick check tool, which gives an idea of whether a sweep is needed, but it is not a diagnosis. Do not call us from the space you suspect.
